20 things I should've told my 15 year old self.

There are some periods of our lives that we really wish we could go back and scream WHAT ARE YOU DOING. 15 year old Ally is one of those. So if I had the chance, here's the list of things I would tell myself.

1) Put down the straighteners. Your hair is straight anyway!
2) Step away from the chocolate bar.
3) Watch your language. You've turned into a right potty mouth.
4) It's okay to feel like shit but don't let it eat you up.
5) Contrary to popular opinion, you are not the only girl left in school not to have kissed someone.
6) The girls in school aren't having as much sex as they say they are.
7) Go out and experience the world. People aren't as scary as they seem.
8) You don't need a Jane Norman bag to be cool.
9) Put down the twilight, step away from the posters DVDs fan books and graphic novel and go read some dickens.
10) Your P.E teacher does not have it in for you. You just don't like rounders... Or any exercise for that matter.
11) Being a stressed out grumpy teenager passes, you will find out who you are eventually. It just takes time!
12) Wear less black.
13) Finding a boyfriend isn't the key to happiness.
14) Clean your contact lenses more often.
15) Don't cut your hair off when you're 17, you'll spend the next 3 years trying to grow it back.
16) You have some amazing friends right now.
17) The next few years are going to test you. Don't worry, you'll make it out alive but you must go through it!
18) STOP BITING YOUR NAILS PLEASE!!!
19) Buy an epilator. This is vital.
20) Be who you are. Have faith that you are a great person and will only grow into a better one.

All this being said, if I hadn't been the person I was at 15, I wouldn't be the same person I am at 20. As much as I hated being a teenager and some parts of my life, the past 5, even 20, years of my life have shaped me into the person I am today and I really wouldn't have it any other way.
