#FashionFriday: My Vinted Experience

I'm sure by now we've all heard and downloaded the latest craze in shopping online - Vinted. For those of you who don't know, Vinted is an app where users sell, buy and swap all types of fashion. Simply put, its a more specific version of ebay... but with better results.

I'd be browsing Vinted for a while. Just having a look around, seeing what types of things users were posting when I saw a watch I liked. I'm not normally one for buying second hand online because you can never be sure of the quality of the product, how damaged it is and whether or not it is actually the brand they say they are. I'm just not going to risk my money for that. But this watch was beautiful. After scouting round for a cool, funky watch that was slightly out of the norm, I had found it. It was a £4 plus shipping. Now don't get me wrong, that's a fine price for a watch, but I just was unsure about what I would really be getting for my money, especially with a relatively new app. So I held back, resisted and vowed I'd find something somewhere else...

And then. An email arrived. Vinted had offered me a £10 voucher. BRILLIANT NEWS. You could buy one item and use the voucher to pay/get money off. This was it. I didn't really have to part with any money, even better since at this point I had £7 in my bank account. So I did it. All I paid was the £2.58 for shipping. Excellent!

I wasn't too sure how the app would work but it was very good for guiding me through exactly how to get the product. I just had to say I wanted it and wait for the seller to get back to me about when she would send it. Really easy. I ordered at 8.54pm on the 19th and by the 22nd the watch was in my hands. I literally couldn't believe it. It was exactly what was on the description, no con in my bank account and really fast delivery. Amazing.

So what does this watch look like I hear you cry. Well here you go. It's a bright green with stripes through the middle. It's quite large on the wrist, I have to use the smallest hook but I do have really small wrists so it's only a slight niggle. But for £2.50 I couldn't be happier with it.
