Let me just start by saying this is in a sample size and I always find sample size mascaras are easier to apply as you can get really close to the lash with the movement of your hand. This mascara has a few pros and cons. Firstly, when I put it on it really looks like you're wearing false lashes. I have quite small lashes and as I think you'll tell by the photo below, this mascara really brings them out! I didn't even have to curl. This mascara is also really black. It's not a false product in that they say its black when really it's a smudgey colour that only resembles light grey. This colour really stands out, even against a pale neutral make up look.
(Please excuse my awful eyebrows.) However, despite the incredible false lash appearance, this mascara does have a big downside. At the end of the day I found that it had smudged a little under my eye and left quite a little mess, not something I find that common with other mascaras I favour. I would also not recommend watching a soppy film when wearing this mascara as it runs everywhere! It doesn't just leave black streaks, there's black underneath the eye and even in between your eyelashes. Incredible.
HOWEVER, I think if you're planning to go on a casual date, a little outing to the shop or are looking fora really natural false lash effect then this mascara will absolutely do the job. Just don't go watching my sisters keeper or the time travellers wife while you're at it!
While I'm at it, on my lid I used maxfactor creme champagne mono eye shadow for just a slightly shimmery natural look.
Hoe you've had a great day! Love to you all. Ally xxxx
