DAY 1: The Big Announcement

I think it's no secret by now that I freaking love Christmas. It, for me, really is the most wonderful time of the year. And I thought there would be no better way than to share my excitement on my blog.

Christmas is my favourite. Gathering around the TV with your family to sit down and watch the Doctor Who Christmas Special, Downton Abbey or even the Queen's speech. Being with your family is what Christmas is about. It's something we rarely get to do anymore. We all lead busy lives so never get a chance to sit down all together, have dinner and really catch up. Christmas is the perfect time for this. But with Christmas always comes the family argument. They happen in every family and don't even deny it. Normally over some stupid petty thing - last year my family and I argued about how to turn on the dvd player. It's beyond ridiculous but when you're not used to spending an intense day as a family, an argument usually occurs. But I wouldn't have it any other way. It reminds you of the union of family and the importance of being nice and kind to each other. Exactly what Christmas is about.

And so, everyday up until Christmas Eve I will be posting a festive inspired post from fashion, to beauty, to home decor and of course, featuring my love of Pinterest!
