DAY 2: Festive Purchases

Now what would Christmas be without some festive inspired purchases and this year I think I've gone a bit mad. Christmas is everywhere. Over the past few years there has been an explosion of consumer products for Christmas lovers. You can't walk into a shop without being hit in the face by Christmas jumpers, bedding, pyjamas, dog jackets, shoes. You want something Christmas themed and I'll bet you can buy it.

I'm not one that's known for my lovely long strong nails. I bite them and pick them and peel off nail varnish like a mad woman. When I went into Primark I just had to pick up some Christmas nails. As you can see each of these was just £1. They have an amazing range of sizes of nails, particularly great for me because I have teeny nails and the glue is actually great. For a nail picker, these bad boys have stayed on incredibly well (yes I've already worn the blue ones, don't judge me). Definitely recommend.

I can't get enough of this festive bedding. And I seems like every other blogger with access to an ASDA can't either. I bought this in the king size for just £14. Amazing. My bedroom at home has a vintage vibe and I love a bit of pin up. The bedding is so soft, not at all starchy or crisp and the figures appear to be painted on to perfection. I love it.

So I went a little Primark crazy. These pjs are the softest, comfiest, cutest thing I have ever worn in my life. They've been through the wash and have still maintained their fluffy snuggly status. I believe they cost around £8 but I can't be sure as I did buy them a while ago (again, don't judge me, I love Christmas).

Man I love a Christmas jumper. Admittedly, I didn't buy the penguin one. That was a present from my Mum, just because she knows me so well. They are both fabulous and garish and amazing. The top jumper... well it sings. I can't get enough. When myself and my housemates are casually sitting in the lounge, I like to just press the little button and sing along LOUDLY. How fabulous.

Yes I will be wearing my Christmas jumper for Christmas Jumper Day 2014 for Save The Children. And I hope you will be too!
