When it comes to Christmas I am very particular about presents. Not what I want for myself even if I do have a few suggestions, but how they should look. I know everyone says what matters is on the inside and yes that is very true but what's on the inside is made even better if the outside looks beautiful too.
For me a present should be wrapped to perfection with neat corners and adorned with ribbons and bows. I just love the magic moment when you give someone a present you've taken pride in wrapping and watching them tear it all open to reveal what inside. And even though all the wrapping inevitably ends up in the bin and, arguably, under appreciated, I can never get over the moment when you hand over the present to await its fate. Magic.
This year we opted for some brown wrapping paper with reindeers and snowflakes and a general nordic style print. My mum tells me this was from Primark but I don't know for sure! The ribbon we bought a few years ago from The Range. Love it!
